The fog only got thicker and thicker by the minute. “Kate, admit it, we’re lost!” Bella yawned loudly, as she walked along with her friend, Katharine Patrick, also known as her best friend. “We are not, besides I know where we’re going.” Answered Katharine as she brushed her black hair aside. For about twenty minutes the two girls were lost in the gray blanket of fog. Kate was trying to get her and Bella to a Christmas concert at their high school, although, when the fog came out of nowhere, they couldn’t find their school for some odd reason.
“Ugh, now we’re probably late to see Jaden’s solo part!” Kate complained out loud. “Well, it’s your fault.” Grumbled Bella. Soon, headlights came out of nowhere, and nearly crashed into the two teenage girls. “Oh my fucking god…” Kate said very quietly, still looking as frightened as if someone was ready to point a gun at her.
A teenage boy with brown spikey hair, deep brown eyes, and a beautiful smile got out of the black truck. It was Jaden Jackson. The Jazz choir’s top male vocalist, and cute football player on the high school football team. And to Kate’s liking, her possible future ‘husband’.
“You girls alright?” he asked, stepping out in front of them. “Y-Yeah, we’re perfectly fine….” Kate gulped, and nodded slowly. Much to Bella’s annoyance, Kate always had to agree and say yes to Jaden no matter how big the problem is.
“Wait-wait, Jaden aren’t you supposed to be at the Christmas concert?” Kate questioned her knight in shining armor. “Well, I was going to get there, until this strange fog came out of nowhere, and well…now I’m lost.” Jaden responded very awkwardly. “Aw man, this really sucks.” Bella sighed sadly, and looked away from the couple.
Both Jaden and Kate stared at each other for a moment or two, so much was going on, the Jazz choir teacher is mostly going to blame Kate and Bella for having Jaden arrive very late. Jaden really didn’t want them to be blamed, but he also didn’t want to leave these two by themselves. He sighed, looking over at his car. “I guess, I’m just going to have to call in sick.”
“No, you shouldn’t” Kate told him.
“Why?” Jaden asked Kate as he raised an eyebrow. “B-Because you’re very good, and your parents must be waiting to want to hear you!” she explained to Jaden very nervously. Bella just watched as the two kept talking about how their lives were going, at this rate they were never going to escape the fog. “We should probably head back to my house then?” Bella interrupted them, having both the motionless people examine her with confused eyes.
“Or we could just stand here and get ran over…” she mumbled still listening to the other two chat. Jaden then invited both the girls into his truck, while he drove through the fog, he looked at both the girls. “So, should we stop and ask where we are?” Jaden snickered, looking around.
Bella shrugged, yet she kept staring out the window hoping the fog would disappear, but it wouldn’t. Hours had passed and everything got even more confusing. Jaden was hoping there was someway out, Kate was super tired due to her rest from the night before, and Bella was already losing it. “Where the hell are we!?”
“I don’t know.” Jaden groaned exhaustedly. Bella then saw a red light, “Jaden stop!” she hissed, seeing the brown haired boy stop his truck at the red light. No buildings, no signs, not even a person in sight. “This is reminding me of a horror movie.” Kate yawned loudly, having both Jaden and Bella stare at her due to her yawn. “Let’s hope it doesn’t end like one…” Bella gulped, looking rather pale.
Voices could be heard from the distance, Jaden kept turning his head side ways to figure out where the voices were coming from. “Strange…” grumbled Kate. “Who’s talking?” Bella rolled her eyes at Kate’s question. “Well, you’re the only one talking so far…”
Soon enough, two large men grabbed the truck. Both looking pretty muscular. “Holy crap, it is just like the movie!” Kate shouted. And soon, darkness entered all their minds. Their bodies numb. Everything was silent.
~Meanwhile in a secret lab~
“Sir, we’ve captured three teenagers, what would you like to be used for?” a woman wearing a lab coat, glasses, and had her black hair pulled into a pony tail. Her voice sounded concerned, not the kind of concerned a mother would possibly have, more of a ‘what will happen’ concern written into her voice.
A man around his late thirties, short brown hair, green eyes, and a scar below his left eye then smirked. “I would most likely need a team of them; each given three different abilities. And I need six of them. An equal amount of the same gender, and be sure to have their memories erased.” The man grumbled, having the woman frown. “B-But sir shouldn’t we-”
The man glared at her. “I-I’ll be sure we do that…” she left the dark room silently, and the man just mumbled. “Good…”
